I am going to sell my house which it has been my personal residence for the last 15 years. While I am considering evaluating it to achieve the current fair market value, I made an appointment with my realtor to list the house on the MLS and put up for sale, and etc. Suddenly, the realtor states that this house actually is not a three bedrooms house and it is only a two bedrooms. I find that shocking, and surprisingly asked, why? The house is two bedrooms however one bedroom has been added to the house. I felt something bad just happened. He continued that the bedroom does not have a closet thus it is not considered a bedroom. He said that there is one more way to understand that which is by looking at the home’s public record/ title. Is really my house a three bedroom or two bedrooms?
